Will Ferrel showed up on Conan last night as the famous Ron Burgundy. He announced that he had come to terms on the sequel of “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.”How awesome is it that Ferrell showed up as the famous character himself to announce the sequel of the movie! After some banter back and forth he finally announced the big news, “I want to announce this to everyone here in the Americas,” he told the audience. “To my friends, in Spain, Turkey and the U.K., including England … as of 0900 Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel for ‘Anchorman.’ It is official, there will be a sequel to ‘Anchorman.’ ” Production is supposed to begin at the end of this year and be released in 2013!
