5 Drinks to Make You Go LOCO on Cinco De Mayo!

Ok so its that time of year again, another national drinking holiday! In order to take this Cinco De Mayo from level 5 to 10 here are some drinks you can try.

1. Tequila El Diablo: Do you like vodka and cranberry?? If so this is a good one to try, why not make it extra special with some tequila!

How to make:

-1 1/2 ounce(s) Tequila
-cranberry juice
-fresh squeezed lime juice
-1/2 ounces simple syrup
-splash ginger ale
-lime wedge

Mix all ingredients in a highball or rocks glass.  Top off with ginger ale.  Garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy. 

2. Texatini: This is like a pumped up martini.

How to make:

Salt

tequila

1.5 fluid ounce orange liqueur

1/2 cup sweet and sour mix

1 fluid ounce orange juice

1 cup crushed ice

1 jalapeno-stuffed green olive

Get a big margarita glass, moisten the edge and dip in the salt.  Then combine all the other ingredients, mix together and drink up. 

3. Tequila Shots: This is for the more simple person in your life. If you’re just ready to get wild, this is the drink for you!

How to make: just kidding…Get your favorite brand of tequila and just slam it back. You could always go with Jose Cuervo, Patron or if you’re feeling wild some 1800 and enjoy!

4. Perfect Maragrita: This one is a classic and perfectly festive for this holiday.

How to make:

1 ounce tequila

3 ounces Lime Margarita Mix

lime wedge

salt

It’s a very simple drink, but mixed together in the right way, it will also be unforgettable.  For an real nice touch, chill the glass before you add the mix.

5. Tequila Sunrise: This one is delicious but dangerous drink. Anytime something with tequila tastes that good, you better be careful.

How to make:

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger tequila
3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
ice cubes
1/2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger grenadine syrup
1 slice orange, for garnish
